Woodbine Health and Safety Solutions is completely dedicated to providing expert, practical and professional support to our clients in order for them to achieve their health and safety expectations and goals.

I have over 30 years experience in the health and safety field, across a wide range of industries and businesses both within the UK and internationally. I am a former HM Inspector of Health and Safety with the Health & Safety Executive (HSE), a chartered Fellow of IOSH and a NEBOSH examiner.

Having run one of the UK’s largest Health, Safety and Environmental  training and consultancy  businesses delivering a  full range of Health, Safety and Environmental  training and consultancy services, from mandatory accredited training through to a Masters qualification in partnership with Oxford Brookes University.

I've worked at the highest levels of HSS policy making and implementation developing partnerships with NEBOSH, IOSH and the HSE and have the inside track.

With a  highly commercially focused approach I have helped organisations create a health and safety culture which translates to improved bottom line performance with a track record of getting  people on board from top floor to shop floor working with Boards to formulate strategy, turning this into action which employees buy into and support.

With an  hands on  pragmatic approach,  I believe that effective and proportionate health and safety management gives significant business benefits in addition to legal compliance as well as being the right thing to do.
